Hello world!

I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving. I haven't posted anything on here in a while. hmmmmm... I need to get on top of that. Any suggestions for covers? I did manage to record one video in Florida while on vacation. It was a cover of creep by Radiohead. Amanda Palmer also does a cover of it on the ukulele. Not much has happened since I last posted something. I do have some things coming up that you might want to look at.

December 8 - Imagine John Lennon tribute show @ Gillioz Springfield, MO 7 pm (The Scribbles)

December 12 - Parkcrest Assembly of God (non-religious show) Springfield, MO 6 pm (The Scribbles)

Definitely check out the Song Fu stuff with the links I have up there. The Imagine show will be the first time the Scribbles will be playing a cover song so that should be interesting. I will try to post my Radiohead cover tonight or tomorrow.

Song Fu with Jubilee Jews!

As another creative outlet A.J. and I will be participating in Song Fu as Jubilee Jews. We wrote and recorded our song for this weeks challenge. The challenge was to chose one of the 700 mole men and molemanic women that John Hodgeman created in his book More Information Than You Require. We chose #487 Lady Anotonia Oddpolyps, the tolerant wife of #486 a former war hero and is now a drunkard. The voting will start tomorrow and there will be a listening party tonight. 39 contestants have signed up but the numbers may narrow down by tomorrow.

Thing-a-week #6 - A cover!

I am still working on a song for this week so to keep all 7 of my followers entertained I am posting a cover. That late song really threw me off so I should be back on track if I can post this new one soon. So here is an Elliot Smith cover. It's called Between the Bars and it's on his 1997 release Either/Or. The video quality is crappy because the audio wouldn't work if the file was any larger.
