Urgent Announcement!

Bob Dylan will be coming to the Shrine Mosque in Springfield, MO on October 25. He is touring very few cities this time so it's strange that he would play in this boring old town. Paste considered him the greatest living songwriter. Tickets are a bank busting $46 but most of Springfield will try to make it in.

My plan is to sell "soy bomb" shirts in front of the entrance.

Try to make it if you can. Should be an awesome show.

Thing-a-week #1

As the first blog entry I would like to give a summary of the project. I plan on writing and recording a song once a week (similar to Johnathan Coulton and Bishop Allen.) If I don't get around to making a song I will review a new album or talk about something music related. I hope you enjoy it. It will be fun for you and me.

I just wrote this song, so it's short and simple. I don't really know what the song is about but I have an idea. I think it was kinda aimed at people who try to hide their true personality but fail miserably. I recorded it using the mic and web-cam on my mac. I was running iMovie on OS X 1.5.8. I use a Lanikai LU-21CE tuned to standard GCEA uke tuning.
